“Student Government Association, the Activities Program Board, Uniting All People, theatre productions, Fencing, Swing Dance, Pre-Allied Health and working with admissions are all things that I do on campus. Since coming to SVC, I felt a strong presence of community and care from everyone I meet on campus. It felt like a super-inviting atmosphere in which I was able to grow and go after the things that I love to pursue. I have personally grown and stepped up into leadership positions by being the class president of SGA and the president of U.A.P. through the support of not only the faculty and staff, but all of my friends on campus who push me to do my best. My work joining swing dance and the theatre department has also helped me to put myself in a new light, express myself and bring even more joy being a part of the SVC community. I know it sounds a little corny, but I really am happy to be aBearcat and welcome people home.”  - Kyle Watson C 21
