"Coming to Saint Vincent, I did not know what to expect of the people here. I am from Germantown, Maryland (about 45-50 minutes away from D.C.), and the culture/people are so different back home compared to SVC. People actually open doors for you, say "Hi," and are just generally decent human beings. I have met some really awesome people, and some who have been not so awesome.  The communication department is so nice. I am so glad I decided to major in Comm. because the staff is really amazing and is willing to work with you on everything. Being here at Saint Vincent has been pretty solid so far, and I cannot wait to see where the rest of my college career takes me."
