On Friday, April 12, I hosted former student Eddie Coughlan, Broadcast Coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. On game days, he shoots bench audio and game action and is part of the broadcast team that travels with the Ravens and produces, shoots and edits five TV shows per week.

For his work with Baltimore, Eddie (above right) has received two regional Emmy Awards. (There was an audible gasp when he showed the trophy to my students. I joked that I wasn't impressed because he only has two more Emmys than I do.) And yes, he does have a Super Bowl ring on the way.
Eddie (below right) spoke to my Field Production course (a mid-level media course in our Communication Department).

Among the topics Eddie discussed were-
-
How he got his job.
-
What his daily duties are.
-
How his time at Saint Vincent affected his life.
-
What his plans for the future are.

-
Nick Higgins, (second from right) who has completed an internship with the Washington Wild Things baseball organization.
- Jake Shaffer (right) who will be working as an intern for the Steeltown Entertainment Project this summer.
