“There were a lot of reasons I picked Saint Vincent to be the school for me. But the deciding factor was the day I went on my tour. I met with Dr. Martincic (Computer Information Science department chairperson) and it happened to be Halloween. She had an Android costume on that she had made. This showed me that this school had a personality and I would be happy here.”-Brittany McMillan

“Saint Vincent College is much more than just a place to further my education; it is my second home. When I was six months old, I attended a day care held on campus. During middle school and high school, I volunteered at the Winnie Palmer Nature Reserve, Campus Ministry and the Admission Office. Also, during high school, I was a pre-college student at Saint Vincent. I was enrolled in core classes as a junior and senior in high school. You can say I grew up with Saint Vincent; it is in my blood. As a result, it was a natural choice to attend Saint Vincent upon graduation from high school. Saint Vincent is truly an institution I love.”

“Within every person there is an unfathomable interior castle, a heart that longs for love, a search for ultimate fulfillment. The question is: How will you fill your castle? How will you fulfill the longings of your heart? Where will the search bring you? Hopefully, the answer to all of these questions is Christ and his infinite love for you. You’re in my prayers.

“I could not have imagined freshman year just everywhere my journey at Saint Vincent would take me. When I started, I foresaw all my time as an accounting major being spent solely inside of the business school. Much to my surprise, I instead found myself taking naps in the Dupré computer labs, traveling thousands of miles to study Chinese in Taiwan and practically becoming a part of the scenery in the art department studios. I discovered both an interest in traveling and a love for stained glass that I will take with me long after I graduate. My time at this school led me, often unwillingly at first, on roads that I never expected to take, but I am so unimaginably grateful that I had the opportunity (and pleasure) to travel.”

“I love collecting toys of all kinds, and Star Wars toys are some of my favorite ones. I remember getting my first Star Wars figure back in 1977, but I expanded beyond that! My favorite pieces are Luke’s X-Wing and Darth Vader’s Tie Fighter, and those are a great pair to have together because you could run around having them battle. So that's my favorite part of Star Wars Day. May the 4th Be With You!”
